...for instance?....

The 4 or so hours across the continent may be the hardest (of your life to be honest).....

Is it easier to land in west Oz?

If you have to fly over to the east coast 3 days later....

(If you're keen, I wonder what you think of a stop in SE Asia, for a break. I'm so sick of doing the 24+ hours straight flight.......

  1. If you land in Perth and need to fly to the East Coast the fares are not cheap so you need to have that in mind. Each time I have travelled from the Uk to Australia I have had a couple or  more nights stop over. My favourite stops where Hong Kong Bankok and Ho Chi Minh city. I have only once flown with out a stop over and never again.

  2. Darwin , most definitely.

the people are friendlier , more conversant and drunker...!

besides , the longer that you stay away from Sydney or any `big smoke` ...... the more enjoyable your stay will be.

and , there`s more to see of and in this Country than just bright City Lights and Rip-off Tourism Avenues.        :>)

if you do come , come for Adventure.

you`ll find nothing quite like it in the World...!

  3. The best places to arrive are either Perth or Sydney. If you need to be in Sydney 3 days later, its going to cost you alot extra to get a flight from Perth to Sydney then it would be to stay on the plane that little bit longer. Most people arrive in Sydney and looking at your situation it would be much wiser, don't forget you lose alot of time landing and taking off again, so would make the flying time longer in the end.

Hong Kong makes an excellent stop over so does Dubai.
