When trolling, at what depth do fish lose sight of different colors

  1. i know that certain colours start to fade as you go deeper under water. so if fish have the same sight as us then i guess they would see certain colours better than others at depth but i don't know what those colours or depths are. i don't think it would make too much of a difference though  


  2. the experts don't even know what colors fish can see. Though top dwellers tend to be blue to blend in and bottom dwellers tend to be muddy brown. if color made no difference then bottom dwellers could be pink and still wouldn't be eaten. Here in Aust. we have a big run off after the wet each rainy season and you cant see even and inch down in the muddy water but the fish still find the lures many meters down. They work on flash and vibration as much if not more than color.
