When trying to download movies, how do I figure out what type to use?

I have no problem downloading music files but have always felt movies were too complicated (obviously I am not proficient with computers in general). Anyway, I just want to be able to burn onto a disc and watch on my DVD player.

  1. you can look for ISO files and burn them to a disc using Ultra ISO or you can download Video TS (.vob) files and burn them to a disk using DVD FAB< shareware or DVD Shrink< freeware


  2. I think you need to download a software called convertxtodvd. This is the program I used everytime I burn movie so that it can be played on a dvd player.

  5. I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

    It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

  6. download the program DVDFlix, its open source so its free.  This would let you convert video files (.avi, etc...) into dvd format and burn them onto disc or save them as .iso files.
