Every time I try to get up on a wakeboard, I feel like the boat is pulling me too much and I can't hang on. I've tried everything and I think I'm doing everything right, (like bending my knees, etc.) but I just can't get up before the rope flies out. Help me please!!

  1. Try using some gloves.  You can either use wakeboard specific gloves, or water ski gloves.  Both should work.

  2. Lean back, bend keens, and straight arms. Let the boat pull you out! You don't need to muscle it.

  3. That is probably because the boat is pulling you too fast, you should grip and hold on pretty hard and if the roap still flies out of your hands then its not your fault, you must tell the driver to slow down while trying to pull you out. And if you try that and still can't hold on to the roap it might be the handle to small or to big for your grip.

  4. YOU have to have your arms straight and to not try and pull yourself up.
