Question:

When trying to use my 360 pro share i keep getting told it cannot connect maybe because of a firewall?

i have checked my firewall and it does allow 360 pro but it wont let me connect

  1. I have 360 SharePro also.. Do you have a Seimens modem your are using to connect to the internet from your service provider ? If you do .. it has a firewall built into it also.. you will have to contact your service provider and find out how to turn it off or how to set up permissions for the 360SharePro to be trusted site on your computer.

    Do you have a security antivirus and spy software like McAfee or Norton installed on your computer? If you have their firewall active, have you checked your Windows Firewall to see if it is on also.. You only need ONE firewall running friend. The Windows Firewall is really hard configuring to your needs. It tends to have a mind of its own sometimes.. I have mine turned off and my McAfee configured to my Explorer security settings, like level of security.. high, medium, low.. stuff like that .. and I had to turn off the Seimans firewall completley.. it confused my computer to the point it just froze up.. it didn't know which orders to follow .. You only need one firewall running at any time when surfing the net and only one security system running at a time.
