When twin siblings m********e together is it morally wrong or sinful if they don't touch each other?

My 3.5 yr old daughter will sometimes grab at her brothers "pee pee" if they are playing and I just tell her its not nice to touch others pee pees. To m********e is natural but they should be encouraged to do it separately......Not saying go tell a kid who is not doing it to do it. I guess it also depends on how old the children are.

Children will do a lot of things. So I'm not saying it isn't 'uncommon'

But I do believe it is wrong. If I was the mommy, I would tell them that is 'bad'. And make sure it does not happen again.

This is socially inappropriate.  Would you as an adult m********e with your sibling?  I think not.  I hope this is not happening and this was a "what if" question.  I work with preteens and they have a lot of misplaced values and concepts that get in the way of their education and all around healthy self image.  These kids don't need to start messing up their minds.  Mind you - masturbating is ok - privately and by yourself, especially for children.

Boy and girl twins are only twins because they were born together. They never shared an egg or a sperm so they are really just brother and sister getting off. It is weird and it is anti-social and it could cause emotional damage and prevent one or both of them from forming lasting relationships later in life.

It's not uncommon, and quite contrary to popular belief it is natural.  If there was no previous sexual abuse, children sometimes (actually, a lot more times than you may think, lets just say I have heard it all from many many people) have sexual feelings and curiosity.

Should you condemn it and say that it is bad and wrong?  No, it is actually the reprimand and being made to feel ashamed that causes psychological damage to children.  Now, rape and molestation can and most times does cause damage to children.  Children don't know about s*x, but they feel it.  So, what the parent SHOULD DO is to talk and educate the children about s*x, and explain to them WHY they should keep their own "activities" to themselves.  Meaning, why they shouldn't m********e together, without telling them that what they're doing is disgusting or 'wrong'.  It may be viewed as wrong to Society, but it is not naturally wrong with their actions.  

Education and the guidance parents give to children about Societal customs is the key.  After all, we are not animals anymore (in the fact that we are conscious beings), but part of a large living organism that is called Society.  Cats and Dogs may see nothing wrong with having s*x out in the open, but humans have adopted rules and regulations of what its members of Society should and should not do.

In a nutshell, it is not 'wrong', but the children need to be educated about the rules of society in a sensible way that you won't damage them psychologically by making them think it is shameful and "disgusting".

As a matter of fact, I find it disturbing that so many people are very ignorant about their own human nature.

What makes me think that I'm right?  Years of studying Psychology and Sociology before changing major, but I still study it.  Plus I'm doing research to make a book about Social Evolution, and I happen to stumble on this controversial question.  Studying Philosophy helps too.
