  3. DEPENDS THE PROCESS IS CALLED MERGING. THE MONONGAHELA AND THE ALLEGHENY RIVERS MERGE AT PITTSBURG AND THEY CALLED THE RESULTING STREAM THE OHIO

    TO MY WAY OF THINKING THE LARGER OF THE TWO RIVERS SHOULD RETAIN ITS NAME. BUT THEY DIDN'T ASK ME.
