When u buy contact lenses at walmart, do you get it the same time?

i have my prescription and i have a prom tonight, can i just go there, show my prescription and theylll give me the one that matches my prescription right away?

Yes I have contacts from walmart and you get it the same day that is if they are in. If you have a different pursription for both eye's then they have to order them with usually takes a week. but if both of your eyes are the same and you been going there then they have it for you there. have fun at your prom

If your prescription is for a specific brand and size of contact, then yes, they should be able to supply them to you.  This assumes you don't have an unusual prescription.  If you only have a glasses prescription, they could fit you, but you would need to demonstrate that  you can insert and remove them yourself before they let you take them home.  Again, this assumes you don't have an unusual prescription.  If you do, the lenses might have to be ordered.
