When u get a text that says for every forwarded text so-and-so organization will donate 5cents to?

s.o in need of a transplant or s.t like that is it true or did s/o make it up bec i feel guilty not sending it but i dont think its true

When I get these, I go to snopes.com to verify if they've been around for years, or if they're bogus.  If it's a genuine charity, I forward it along with the link to snopes so that those I pass it on to can check for themselves.

its not true.

i feel guilty too, but they have no way of tracking that.
