When u get pulled over and they give u a ticket.. ???

and where they put where the pulled u over at... is it where they clocked you for speeding of the actual street u were on? if u guys understand that

  1. having a hard time reading this.  you might get some better answers if you re-word this question and pay attention to at least a little grammar.


  2. This is suppose to be where the violation occurred. So, this would be where the officer "clocked" you for speeding.

  3. they can pull you over miles away if they want.  They will write the ticket based on where you were speeding not where you were eventually pulled over.

  4. The ticket should in theory state the street/rooad name the offence was detected on.

    Ie: If you were "clocked" as you put it, speeding on "Smith Street" and then pulled over on "Jones Street" the ticket should state the offence occured on Smith Street.

    Unless of course you were detected still speeding along Jones Street and then it's really six of one and half dozen of the other.

    Then again depending on what State/Territory/Country you're in the department/agency in question may have differing policies.
