When u go to six flags great america in illinois, do u need i.d to go there just because?

No not at all....unless you are using a credit card or something...if you are using cash than you are fine at any six flags anywhere...because kids go all the time unattended by parents....don't worry.

No, nobody needs to show ID to get in. If you have a ticket, they'll let you in.

um i dont think you need an id..., i live in illinois, and i never showed any id

You do not need an ID to get into great america.  I would suggest you bring it if you are planning on drinking alcohol in the park.  They do not let you bring in food or drinks, so be prepared.  I would suggest being a minimalist when you go in there.  The storage is quite expensive and food is also.  Bring a lunch and bring it in a cooler and have lunch out in your car.  Also, make sure to bring enough money to cover parking.
