  1. no, you get this attatchment thing that sucks out the air (oxygen makes it go bad) or you get an aerosol can of nitrogen and spray it into the bottle (I guess nitrogen is heavier than oxygen and pushes it out.)  you're not supposed to chill red wine anyway.

  2. it mostly depends on the type of wine a Burgundy needs to be handled differently than a Chardonnay

The basic rule is red wine out | white wine refrigerated

  3. Only if it's white or blush should it be refrigerated after being opened - red wine should be left at room temperature....

  4. Uhm...you dont need to "chill" red wine.... it needs to be "room temperature"...which is 60degrees give or take....but do not refrigerate it...cold red wine defeats the purpose.  After its open...dont refrigerate..it will keep for 3-4 days .....DO NOT REFRIGERATE....

  5. make sure u cork it really good and try to drink it in less than a week.if oxygen gets into it itll turn sour.it doesnt have to be refrigerated cuz the alcohol will kill bacteria ur main concern is oxygen

  6. I don't know, but the temp change is probably not good for it. Like how you're not supposed to fridge beer, then take it out, then fridge it again.

I would open it, put some in a glass and refrigerate only that portion. At least the bottle won't keep going cold to room temp every single time you want a glass or two.
