When u use ur insurance card,does it come out in any kind of bill or paper to let u know where its been used?

i need to go to the doctor, but i need insurance and i have insurance, the thing is that i dont want my mom to know that im gonna go to the doctor. so i want to know if i use it, is there some how she will find out?

If she's the primary insured, she will find out.  You'd better be honest.

She'll find out you went to the doctor, but she won't be able to find out why, unless you are a minor.

if you are a minor, she can call the insurance company and find out whatever she wants. if you are 18 or older, she cant. BUT... when you go to the doctor, your insurance company sends what is called an Explanation of Benefits to your home stating when you went and how much it was (kinda like a receipt).. so, if she gets that, she will know you went.
