When uploading skinz on bebo how do i keep the high quality as the size limitations make them look bad? thanks

i make skinz which look good but when i try upload them the files are too big. when i lessen the quality they dont look good anymore. saving the files as .gif works with non pictorial skinz but when there's a picture involved it fails. please help me!! thanks in advance

Make sure you're saving your images using "save for web" not just regular saving. That shrinks the file size way down without losing as much quality as you do the other way!
