if she/he is lying to you they probly not very good friends if they are try talking to them about how you feel and see what happens after

ya like your soo totally right my friend does it too..i tell her a secret and she even promise not to tell anyone and in the end i get to know that the whole world knows it..and i get soo totally angry ..i really know how that feels but one way is just to keep avoiding!

You realize that this person is not really your BFF as a BFF would not do these things.  What this person is, is Toxic.  Toxic people cannot make true friends as they are not capable of understanding what the term means.  

If you have proof of this behaviour then you should confront the friend as if confrontation causes the friendship to break up then you would most likely be better off.

People who have traits like this do not change as they cannot help themselves.  It is part of life to sift your way through many friendships and people to find those who are worth having in your life.  Someone who is toxic can only bring you down.

Personally I hate liars and people who bag you behind your back.  I also know the name that I would give them would certainly not be Best Friend.
