  1. it depends on the density of the graphite.

generally graphite are more expensice because of the weight. they are generally used by people who carry their bags and not use trolleys.

if you dont have a strong swing id go with the steel shafts.

the weight difference is not always that great.

the answer to your q is that it depends on your strength.

    go with the steel shafts.

  2. i have nike CPRs with steel shaft and i can hit my 7 iron about 220. but with my graphite i can only hit in the 190's. its your prefrence and what you feel comfortable with. and depends on the flex

  3. It depends on your swing.

Graphite shafts have more flex and are lighter. They are designed for forgiveness and feel at a lower swing speed.

If you have a good swing and with more speed, consider steel. Most people can use a standard stepped shaft. Many pros work with rifled shafts.

  4. yes it lets you hit further but you give up a ton of accuracy, and mindbull is LIEING, there is NO WAY you hit a 7 iron 220. I would say if you do go and be a tour pro but no because it's a lie. How do you think you can get away with that with REAL golfers on these boards. Your crazy.
