smoking marijuana is illegal in Jamaica and so is buying it. If you are caught you will be arrested.

Yes, it is illegal but a lot of resort do not mind if you smoke in your room.  You can also smoke freely on the Nine Mile Tour ( Bob Marley Home). It's "No Problem Mon". It is all good! I am going to Jamaica in July and I can't wait!

Not sure  - but I know a bunch of people who went to Jamaica and when they got out of the airport they were asked by a local if he could show them the best places to go and that he would always be ready to take them anywhere. And he always used to turn up every other day at their apartment with a case of Red Stripe beers and plenty of weed!! So I think you can obviously get it freely but I'm pretty sure it's still classed as an illegal drug - could be wrong though!

Both smoking and buying marijuana is illegal. If you get caught you will have to serve your time there then be deported. You are also banned from coming back.
