  1. They will most definitely find out if you are lying! I am sure that many lie because they think that if they answer yes then they will be denied. It is best to be honest. They always run a check on applicants and what is worse if you are caught lying, not only would they deny your visa, but they may also fine you for lying. And you would probably be permanently banned from entering their country even with a transit visa.

How do they find out?? Through a standard background check.

  2. nowadays , everything can be checked , first of all you have to provide the country that you are visiting with police records of your own country .therefore ? none can get away with hiding their  own record .......

so ? when you apply for a visa ? you have to provide your official records ..............

  3. They do a background check with all the information that you provided them in the interview.

Even though they may initially approve your visa, when you go home and they start looking into your background if it comes up, when you go to pick up your visa you'll find that you've been denied, not necessarily because of the crime, but because of lying.
