It came roughly a year ago at the Dubai Desert Classic, when McIlroy edged out Justin Rose to win his first tournament at the age of 19. But although he's continued to impress since then and risen to his current position of No. 9 in the world, he hasn't won another European tour event since. He gets the chance to win again this week when he's back in Dubai, and with four top five finishes in his last four outings, he's in good form.
