When was Ryan Grants rookie season? He never made the active roster for the giants in 06, so would 07 be it?

Does being on the practice squad and not on the active roster actually count as a season? If not then was 07 with Green Bay technically his rookie season?

Yes. I would think so. Since he played no games or gained any stats for the '06 season he did not actually play in the NFL. Therefore '07 would constitute his first, or rookie, year in the NFL. If you go to the link below it will show that his stats started the '07 year.

I just read Reese's answer and he brings up a good point. Which may negate my answer? Which I guess says I dont know. haha

good question, Im not entirely sure but I would assume the 06 season was his rookie year because on his profile on the packers roster list, for yrs of experience, they had him down for 2. This would be his 3rd season as a player and his 2nd as a Packer.
