  1. The battle took place on 22nd August 1485 when the armies of King Richard III were opposed by Henry Tudor.  Supporting the king were the forces of the Earl of Northumberland who in the end chose not to intervene when called upon by the king.  In addition were armies under command of the Stanley family one of whose sons was held hostage by Richard who threatened his execution if Stanley did not support him.  Stanley replied "I have other  sons".  Richards army was defeated in the field and Richard cut down trying to reach and kill Henry Tudor and the rest as they say is history.

  2. August 1485. The start of the Tudor domination for the next 100 years or so. Starting with Henry VII and ending with Elizabeth I. Hope that helps.

  3. Battle of Bosworth heath August 1485

  4. 22 August 1485

  5. August 1485, between the forces of Henry of Lancaster (soon to be Henry VII) and Richard III. It was the last real battle of the Wars of the Roses between the houses of Lancaster and York, during which the house of York fell, and the house of Lancaster eventually triumphed. Although the Lancasters won, the winner of the battle was Henry Tudor, and thus the Tudor dynasty began.

  6. 1485. I'm sure you could have Googled that. It's called the battle of Bosworth Field.
