The Old Testament was written roughly over 2,000 years, about 4,000 years ago, the New Testament was written 2,000 years ago. To the person who said 200 A.D.: you're wrong, we have no evidence that any of the Gospels testifying to Jesus' life was written after 70 A.D., which would mean that many people who saw Jesus were still alive, and therefore could verify Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Over 500 people saw Him after He died. Including Paul, who did not believe in Jesus until He appeared. Even Paul wrote that many of the people who saw Jesus were still alive.  Jesus even appears to people today, 33% of Muslim converts to Christianity today are because Jesus appeared to the person.

Since the Christian Bible is a composite piece made of many different books (73 in the Catholic Bible, 66 in the Protestant  Bible), no one date can be assigned. Even though the Church Fathers had, for the most part, already decided which texts to use in worship and study (we use the same texts now, as Christians), the Bible was not formally canonized until 325 AD.
