its for research. i guess i shouldve put the question in different terms since a river delta cant be established but it seems the other people were able to answer the question Isenki . so sorry that im idiot. im only 13 geez.

  1. What are you talking about? You can't "establish" a river delta any more than you can "establish" a mountain range!  I bet you're just copying these questions from a rubric or a worksheet, am I right?


  2. there is some truth to each answer I've read but Esmerelda is more correct.

  3. Not by who, but by what?  The delta is formed by sediment deposited by the Mississippi River and has been there in some form or another as long as the river has existed.

  4. The Mississippi River delta is the deposits of silt that wash down the river and get left at the mouth of the river where it meets the Gulf of Mexico.  The Mississippi has been doing that for as long as it's been in geological existence.  It has grown much faster in the last 100 years because of the building of levees that prevent flood waters from distributing the silt across the land as it did before humans got involved so the silt continues downstream and the delta grows much faster than ever.

  5. A river delta cannot be established, if you mean settled then it was during the 1780s I think by Europeans but by Native Americans I cannot say.
