  1. the teddy bear was created when teddy Roosevelt was president. he went hunting with his buddies and wouldn't kill a bear. his buddies teased him but the ladies started making stuffed bears and gave them to children and others calling them the teddy bear out of Roosevelt's love and tenderness for the bear.


  2. They were first made in 1987 by Carte Blanche Greetings. Another name for them were Tatty Teddy. They are real popular in Europe.
