When I first visited Greece!  :D   2002??  Souda Bay 'cuz I was in the Navy.  Then Crete.  I'd love to go to Santorini!

Just last week! I ate at Bellamy's in Winnipeg. The sister of Nia Vardolos from My Big Fat Greek Wedding owns that restaurant. Great food! :)

i work at one, trying my hardest to get out of there. the money is good but the owners are difficult. Why is it that employees have to conform to health standards but all the members of the greek owners' family doesn't? i mean the wife brought the dog in the through the back door! and was in the kitchen. I'll never work for a greek ever again. I'll never give them my money either.

Mm mm...I was a newlywed, in a military town, and I discovered the BEST Greek restaurant in Norfolk, VA...the Orapax Inn...run by this old Greek guy who could cook...but boy, when he got mad at his staff, he could yell, too...and he didn't care who was in the restaurant trying to eat...

But it was all worth it to have authentic Greek food out, other.  What I knew growing up from a neighbor lady who was a first-generation American of Greek immigrants--and man, could she cook!
