  1. Well, the first PRACTICAL train was the Rocket and is still in existence in the London Science Musuem (London in England, UK). It has been slightly modified compared to the way it way 177 years ago. Other trains could count but most of them were so clumsy and useless that the Rocket should be the only train classified as the first REAL train


  2. The first steam train with a tubular boiler was built in 1829 it was called Rocket, is is now at the science museum in London.

  3. The first train (locomotive) that was ever made was in England, built by Richard Trevithick, for the Pen-y-darren Iron Works in South Wales.  

    Many say that locmotive never hit the tracks, and my guess is the locomotive is no longer around.
