When was the last time Collingwood fielded a team as pathetic as against Essendon today?

What a farce.....they were pathetic, against a team with so many injuries they were battling to field a side.

The likes of Lockyer, Heath Shaw, Didak, Pendlebury etc again showed how weak hearted they were when crunch time came. Between them they only gathered a handfull of possessions.

It will be interesting to hear Mick's excuses, whinges & blame of umpires etc.....

Well I watched the whole game and thought Essendon were brilliant and some of those tackles!!!  Bet they hurt.  I thought Lloyd played well and I have always been a big admirer of Dustin Fletcher.  They thoroughly deserved that win and yep it will be interesting to see what Malthouse comes up with.  I am going well this round.  I picked Essendon and also the Eagles.  I am on a roll.  I just thought the Eagles were due to break the drought and it was warm over there in Perth today and that went against the Saints and it will knock the stuffing out of St.Kilda for next week too.  Yeah Didak can be a bit of a front runner - bit like Milne I reckon.  Maybe Collingwood thought they had it in the bag before the first bounce???

I say probably...... last week. The pies were pathetic against the bombers.  I knew they were gonna lose from the first half.... 5 goals to 1. What a bloody disgrace! Shame the cats lost to these guys!

i agree with the comment on the essendon tackling... the bombers played very hard at the ball all game

the pies did show good moments though, like in the 2nd quarter when they came right back

glad to see the bombers come up with the much earned win

I don't know. But this team is setting a pretty good standard for continually playing below expectations.

Having said that I just love seening Collingwood get flogged.

**I certainly wasn't expecting the result, bit of a shame as I would have liked to have seen a close game.  They're normally able to deliver that too!

Collingwood have a few issues and obviously are not as good as they think they are.  Essendon should have put them away by a lot more than they did because Collingwood played very ordinary.**

Collingwood were disgraceful today they totally deserved to lose! Essendon aren't a fantastic team but they showed class todayy against a crappy collingwood side! Good Question :D

There's something very wrong over at Maggieland and I reckon it's that Malthouse guy.  He coached an unhappy club before (yes he turned them into champions but it was in the same manner that Hitler created the third reich) and it seems he has another unhappy club .... where's the common factor here?  

I reckon it's time for Micky to stop the whinging and start the packing.
