It was in Richmond a couple years ago.  That was the last points race.  The last overall race was the Bud Shootout but it didnt count towards points.

The real answer is this past February at Daytona when he won the Bud Shoot Out.  It's not a points race but it is a nascar race against the best in the business.

as a public service, i will answer this with the facts, so hopefully we can nip this in the bud, so to speak:

junior's last points-race win was at richmond on may 6, 2006.  there have been 73 points races since then.  

and the bud shootout was not his last win.  that was february 9th, 2008.  he also won one of the gatorade 150 duels on february 14th, 2008 - that was his last win.  both of these were non-points races, thus they didn't end the "winless" streak as only points races are counted.

he will more than likely win again, and probably sooner rather than later.  the end.

ps. big rick, the gatorade duel came five days AFTER the showdown, making that his last win in a sprint cup (non-points) race.

Richmond in 2006 was the last points race. The 2008 Bud Shootout and the 2008 Gatorade Duel 1 were the last races. I believe the last points race was 73-74 races ago, but i might be wrong.
