  1. How is that even possible?

  2. Never its not possible.

  3. that isnt possible it has to be the preseason cup so if you mean afl premiership that isnt possible but preseason yes so it is carlton

  4. Don't you mean Pre season Cup Grand Final and wooden spooners in the same season.

The answer is Carlton in 2005.

  5. Carlton (2005) won preseason and wooden spoon.

Western Bulldogs (1967) preseason and wooden spoon.

Geelong (1957) lost preseason grandfinal (ie came 2nd) and won wooden spoon.

Melbourne (1969) preseason and wooden spoon.

North Melbourne (1961 and 1968) lost preseason grandfinal and won wooden spoon.

So I guess in short, Carlton in 2005.

  6. In 1916 in the then VFL, Fitzroy finished last but still won the premiership.  Due to WWI only four teams took part, and Fitzroy finished last.  All four teams competed in the finals and Fitzroy defeated Carlton in the Grand Final (12-13-85 to 8-8-56).

All results are available on the AFL's website.

  7. Carlton a few years ago won the Pre-Season Grand Final and got the spoon the same year
