There was an article in the local paper that said that the three most dominating teams in baseball since 1980 (I said that not the paper), The Yankees, The Cardinals, or The Braves (and for all you dodger fans, I didnt include you because they only went to the world series 2 times)

Anyways The Yankees, The Cardinals, or The Braves may not be in the playoffs for the first time in......... how many years?

  1. I think 1990 is the last time that none of those teams made the playoffs.

The Yankees have been there each season since 1996.

The Braves streak which ended a couple seasons ago began in 1991.

The Cardinals have made it several seasons since 1996 but not every season. Before that they sucked for about a decade, as did the Yankees and Braves for the previous decade and longer.

Unless I'm missing something 1990 is the last time none of those teams made it there.

  2. Don't forget about the Red Sox...

  3. last year! the Red Sucks (who suck big time) and the Rockies

  4. I thought that the yankees have made it to the playoffs every year since 1994

  5. 1990: Red Sox, Athletics, Reds and Pirates we're the Teams in the Playoffs, Reds vs A's in World Series Reds won the series in 4.

  6. 1990 was the last time that neither the Yanks, Cards or Braves made the playoffs, so that's 18 years ago.
