  1. Good question TS :)..Yuh so bright & sweet & cute :):).. But yes to answer ur question..everyday my love..I thank God everday for making me a Trini and just this mornin as I was drivin to work I was just thinking of all the things happening around the world- poverty, aids, war, etc etc.. People in africa not having enough to eat, children becoming orphans due to aids.... We as Trinidadians are EXTREMELY BLESSED....

  2. I think I have a unique perspective on this question. Although I don't think I could be more Trini if I was born there I think I have a greater appreciation, if that is possible, for the opportunity to be considered a Trini. I didn't just happen upon that honor because I was born there like everyone else. I got the chance to live there and become a Trini. I can't even imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't had the chance to actually live there.

I look at my kids and although they are as influenced by the culture as they can be (they love the music, and the food and Carnival etc ) I can't help but think of all they're missing out on. Some things you just can't explain, yuh know?

So  to answer the question there isn't a day that goes by that I am not immensely, eternally grateful to be a Trini.

  3. Bless up Trinisoccer,  give thanks for life papa, i am a Jamaican, and sometime it ruff an tuff, but we still a fi give thanks for dis peice a rock. it betta dan nuff.  Bigga dan we and betta dan we a face h**l. Mek we pray fi Peace, Goodwill and prosperity fi every one

    One Love  mi bredda.

  4. Juss last night, lol

I was reading about word hunger/hiv aids and all that, and I donated 3000 grains of rice through a webiste that helping starving ppl.

Then, I thanked God that I have food to eat, and I also thanked him that people in Trinbago have a meal to eat, and I pray for the ones that don't. Trinidad far better off than some countries, and I realise that, and I thank God for that.

  5. I do that frequently. Being abroad and in an area with NO West Indians of any kind, I get to tell people about Trinidad almost on a daily basis. Every time I do I feel overwhelmed. There's pride in our accomplishments, (also sadness for all the corruption, crime and diesease at home) but I know that with God's blessings and our hard work and determination, we can make Trinbago into the paradise we know it is.

    May God Bless Our Nation...

  6. I have been to the US recently and T&T has a long way to go in term of development - socially and economically.

However, In T&T we take it granted all the freedoms we have. I guess it probably why we are so indiscipline at times but its Trinidad & Tobago and we love our country.

Imagine not being able to walk on Maracas bay with a beer in the bottle. Instead I have to walk with a paperbag or cup on south beach.

Doh talk about crime. We have crime no doubt but it far worst in other parts in the world. But its sad that crime is on the rise in T&T. Unequal distribution of wealth in our nation. Tiss tiss tiss. Rich getting richer & the poor getting poor and the middle class fighting to survive as well.

But in all, i love our sweet T&T.

  8. Every morning. I get to work and look at the international news and see what is happening thru out the world and I silently thank God for being Trini and living in this little piece of paradise.  Crime, high prices, traffic and all.

  9. We live in a paradise compared to some places!

Of course we have our share of problems and what we need mostly is a good court and rehabilitation systems in place.

I am sure most people who think the grass is greener on the other side, realised it ain't always so

  10. i thank GOD everyday for being a trini
