  4. Well, this wasn't the last time but it stands out. I complemented my sister on how nice she looked after she came home from work. She had tried a new hairstyle and she always dresses really nice for work when she can wear jeans or whatever, which adds to professionalism. She always looks great but she just recently had her second child and her husband is overseas so she doesn't get it a lot, you know? She thanked me the next day or so, saying it's always nice to hear.

  5. This afternoon.  I told my grandson "Good job" when he helped me wash the dishes.

  6. This morning.  I told my fiance that his new cologne smelled nice.

  14. I live in an area which is now preponderantly immigrant muslims.  Never were more beautiful people so plainly dressed. I walked through the mall and saw an average-looking black lady of less than half my age walking like a princess in a dress and matching accessories that would not be out of place at the White House or Buckingham Palace, yet not out of place at the mall either.  Without thinking, I caught up with her and said as I passed by, "Madame, I hope you feel as good as you look, and that's a million dollars." She said something in reply which sounded pleasant, but I was too far ahead to make out the words.

  15. This morning I complimented my partner on his driving skills.  He did a five hour trip in four hours.  


  16. Just today I encouraged a friend to buy a new dress... and it was a size smaller than usual so I told her she was looking great and to keep at it.
