When was the last time you felt Guilty?

Question

For me it was earlier today when I was clipping my favorite rabbit Bagel's nails and I hit the quick and made her bleed quite badly, I felt awful but she is fine.

I no longer feel guilt. I had that gene removed. Now I feel slight remorse, or sadness, but usually I feel joy, ecstasy, love, rage, disgust, hatred and disappointment. Sometimes I feel vengeful, horny or slightly mad. But no, no guilt.

I feel guilty every day of my life - for being born. I was raised in a particularly unusual environment. My mom and step-dad were mentally abusive (to the point of anguish) and they had "sick" ways of meting out punishment. I ran away from my parent's house at age 15.

I also have a mental illness which causes a lot of emotional pain and distress. There is never a "happy" day for me. Each is just "stable". As a child, I remember feeling real joy. I've not felt that way since then.

I feel guilty about the fact that i'm alive and enjoying a comfortable existence while people around me are going through hardships that no human should have to face.

Our western ideals over why we should feel guilty are pitiful compared to the grand scheme of things.

thats cool i felt guilty when my cat drowned tryn to catch some fish we tried keep and when he drowned i was there out side all depressed with no sleep but inever saw him and the look on my familys face made me feel guilty another time we had a rabbit and he was free to be outside until this f cat ate him and i heard the rabbit cry but i never thoutght that was going to happen next day i found him ripped and my ****** up fam thoutgh i F***n killed the rabbit they always trip on me
