When was the last time you got carded?

Buying anything you need to be a certain age for.

How old were you, what did you buy and when.

I WAS JUST CARDED YESTERDAY.

After I get a few responses I will tell you what I bought and how old I am..

I was buying beer at 16 (it was legal to drink at 18 then) but refused service once at 19 and last carded seriously when I was in my 30s. This past year, someone kidded me about having to show proof of age (at 72).

last week i was buying an 18 pack of some brew and i got carded. I'm 22

yesterday I went to the liquor store and bought a 6 pack and got carded.  and I'm 41!!  I said god bless you and made sure to thank her.

I was 33 and was going into a casino with 2 friends. I was the only one that was asked AND I was the oldest by 3 years. oh yeah!!

I was carded in a night club about a year ago, and I was 40 at the time :D

I am 30 years old with a nice little gray streak of hair that grows at my temple in between my clairol treatments.  I have an 11 yr old daughter.  I still get carded for cigarettes.  I was about 30 miles from home  and realized that I left my drivers liscense in the other cars glovebox.  So I run out of cigaretts.  I go to 3 stores, no one knows me cause I am not from this town and they all card me.  Gray streak and all.  So finally I go to this one store and I tell my daughter before we go in that if she calls me mommy every 3 steps she takes, and make sure everyone hears her.....I will buy her whatever she wants.  (by that time, I realllly needed a cig.)  So she does and when we get to the register, I ask for the cigs and get them no prob.....LOL

It worked.   But all in all I still get carded for things.  I even got carded for buying a lighter and spray paint even.

I've only been carded once.  That was in 1971, shortly after I turned 21.  Ironically, I used to drink in the same tavern before I was of age.

My husband and I BOTH got carded when we went grocery shopping together. He was buying, but they carded both of us.

I am 23, he is 38. We bought a six-pack of Black and Tan for him and a six-pack of Smironoff Ice for me (because I don't like Black and Tan, not because I don't drink beer).

On my 21st birthday, I went out with a bunch of friends, and they carded all of my friends, and didn't card me...and they didn't know it was my birthday. I pouted about that.

Oh, and I just realized...I bought cigarettes for my husband last week, and wasn't carded. I'm 5'4" and everyone says I look 15 or 16, so they -should- have carded me. tsk, tsk.
