I went to a wedding last night and sat at a table with a beautiful, bubbly blonde bimbo with absolutely nothing going on up stairs. A archetypal blonde bombshell bimbo.

When was the last time you meet someone who personified a stereotype and what stereotype was it?

  1. Honestly, never. I've met crack dealers with hearts of gold and teachers who took unwarranted joy in breaking kids' spirits. People frequently surprise the h**l out of me.

  2. I meet racists all the time, unfortunately they almost all match the stereotype of backwards, culturally challenged neaderthals....

  3. I used to have a neighbour who was a scientist..well a physicist.. and he was possibly the most boring man on earth... he seemed to fit the bill when it came to stereotypical physicists...reminded of the one at school with the ever so monotonous voice.

  4. In the elevator at work this morning. A 30-something executive wanna-be, slightly overweight with that standard-issue business-man hairdo, dockers and a polo shirt. The keys to a used BMW in his pocket. Called the other men on the elevator "The Mikester" and "the Kenster.

  5. Twelfth grade. I met the stereotypical emo kid. There was almost nothing un-emo about him. Skinny jeans, heavily gelled black-dyed hair, pale face, eyeliner, black concert T-shirt, everything. Unbelievably, though, he agreed to play the lead role in our movie mocking emo kids.

  6. 9 months ago in West Virginia.  It was a redneck.

  7. every time I turn on the TV... or wait, does the media define and create these stereotypes... catch 22

why not view the young lady as a young lady and not this a-typical person you perceive her to be... perhaps then she would be free to not simply be a "bombshell".

  8. I met a few while I Was in school last semester...Talked to this l***o who wore big polo shirts, was very hefty, short hair, etc..

There were also a few blondes that I have also seen who had no d**n common sense whatsoever.

I see the living black thug stereotype everyday.

A few rednecks fit their stereotypes.

A lot of southern women fit that s**y country girl stereotype...God knows they fit it....whew...

Met a few early year 30 year olds who felt they were old people or not s**y anymore, mostly the ladies.  They were mostly online though.

..that's all I can think of at the moment.

  9. And we all know that your first, shallow impression is always correct.

  10. Got a lot of thumbs down when I came on GWS.

    stereotype - feminists hate men.

  11. I meet them all the time...Mostly emo....It seems like everyone now is trying to fit into a sterotype :S

  12. Last time i saw a stereotype: Mall, school, outside, etc.

    Stereotype: Loud Black loser.
