When was the last time you read the Declaration of Independence?

Especially those of you NOT from the USA. Remember that 230 years ago an independent republic was never heard of in monarchic Europe or Moslem Africa and Asia.

In honor of the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration, on July 2. 1776, please read it through at least once, to ynderstand what it meant then. And still does to some.

  1. It is read every year after our 4th of July parade.  

    Words to be cherished and defended.  

    "Governments are instituted among Men deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed..."

    Not the coercion of the governed.
