  3. Last summer - Right turn on red without stopping first.

  4. A few months ago. Illegal squealing/screaching or tires and speeding.

  5. June 2006 - for speeding, 28 miles in a 20 mile zone (on campus).

    I *know* I wasn't going over 25 mph, but there is just no way to prove it.  I think it is just the University's way of trying to raise money.

  7. Never, but i got pretty d**n close once. I was going 65 in a 30 cause its like a country road but the speed limit is dumb(WAY to slow) but i got pulled over and he said i was gonna get a ticket, he walked to his car, came back and said that he had another call he needed to get to. Man was that my lucky day or what. I dont wanna know what that ticket would have been

  9. 71 in a 45...dec of 06...cop really teed me off that day...he wanted to race so i did..as i was going around some old grandma who was driving 40 for 20 miles i had an appointment and i was gonna be late at a hospital the speed limit as she was doing 40 was 55 or 60 and there was simply no way for me to pass....he cut me off by going in front of me as i went to pass him..and then i went around him...and hit 71 coasting down a hill..i knew he was a cop which was the stupidest part..he was in an unmarked..but i feel he was wrong he didnt even use a blinker when he came to my lane..at least i use blinkers...anyway..i paid it off and took no points or anything..i hate NC

  11. About 20 years ago I got a ticket and beat it in court EASILY.

    I'm cruising along one day and pull up to a stop sign and stop. A police car races up behind me with lights and siren on. I look both ways and pull through the intersection and over to the right curb to wait and see what the problem is, thinking I'm being cited for something.

    The "cop" says: "Why didn't you yield right of way to a police vehicle"?

    HUH?? I say, I'm sitting here on the side of the road. Wouldn't YOU call that yielding????

    " I mean back there at the stop sign. I was trying to respond to a call, and you were sitting there in the way"

    (Again) HUH??? I thought you were pulling me over for some offense, I didn't KNOW you were trying to get past me.

    "sign here"

    Question: "if you were in such a big hurry, how is it that you have time to write a ticket for failure to yield"

    "sign here or go to jail"

    (me) "see you in court. I'll beat this one"
