When was the last time you saw a bee?

When I was a kid I used to see loads of bees. Nowadays I rarely do, just loads of wasps.

I've heard that 1/3-1/2 of the world's bees have died in the last 10 years. In real life, not just on Dr Who.

Have you noticed any recently?

I saw one this morning - my kitten was trying to catch it :( Ouch

Yes, lots round our flowers in the garden, but we live in Spain

Yesterday, I had about 6 honeybees feeding on the lavender blossoms.

they're all in my garden then! Seriously there are loads...on my snapdragons.

We live in the Blue Ridge mountains and yep, they're aren't quite as many but they are still out there!  -- my garden loves them but I have noted that the numbers are down....

it has something to do with polution in the air and how it effecting the way they find the flowers.
