A garments true value does not lie in the label but in the workmanship. We pay for that workmanship.

With the demand for ever increasing quantities of fashion clothing appreciation of the true value and workmanship has been lost. The only reason cheap clothing items are made is that they are demanded by us. Those manufacturing very low cost clothing work long hours, with little pay, in hazardous working conditions and child labour is used.

So when was the last time you went to a shop and turned an item of clothing inside to check out the seams because you are prepared to pay for the workmanship?
