  2. A month ago I think but I called a toll free number so I didn't have to pay. Just half a year ago, the phone company that has the most payphones in my area jack up the price from 25 cents to 50 cents make local calls so I use payphones a lot less because of that.

    Certain areas like hospitals, subways, or even some workplaces, payphones are needed as you can't use a cell phone there for whatever reason.

  5. About 3 and a half years ago. I think that is the only time I used one in my life. Well I am only 14.

  6. i cannot remember. been years. too bad they are becoming extinct. guess it helps sell the cell. i like the idea of phone booths and only have the cheapest prepaid cell for possible emergencies. i keep it in the car and only turn it on to check that it is still charged and working. got one for my son but he refuses to use it. ain't cool. so he pays around 70 pounds per months for being cool. dumb.

  11. About 2 months ago, someone nicked my mobile out my pocket and I had to ring a load of people to try and trace it. Never did find it :0( AND the payphone palaver cost me about £5!! GRR lol

  14. Quite a while back, have you noticed public pay phones are being taken of the streets more often now?

    With the age of the Mobile Phone, nobody really uses them anymore. They should be still placed in public places like a hospital though.
