When was the last time you were THIS excited for a race?

I am already jacked for the coming race at Richmond! There will be carnage and wrecks. Who will thrive vs. those just just trying to survive? Will some of the locked in drivers push it too hard, going for those last 10 bonus points, and cause a wreck that impacts the bubble drivers? Will Joey Logano qualify for and make it to the end of the race? I haven't been this pumped for a race since maybe Homestead last year, how about you?!?!

Last week. As always the next race.I think this race really only has real value for Ragan, Bowyer and maybe Kahne.I hope it is exciting though. Perhaps the other chasers will go all out for the final chance to get bonus points for the chase.Next week is a dull track,but has more worth. The first in the chase points race.

I can't wait I am excited to know who is going to be in the Chase and who is going to be out! I can't wait! I hope David Ragan can make the chase but I also wouldn't mind to see Clint Bowyer in the Chase so I hope Denny Hamlin drops out!

Im with ya Trego, this is going to be one for the ages. There is alot that could happen Saturday and like they say, tempers always flare up at Richmond. I hope the hurricane(Hanna) slides on up the Atlantic and disappears in the middle of the ocean. We lucked out here in east Texas with Gustav, it petered out before it got this far. Good luck this weekend in Fantasy.

Now is when it's going to get real interesting...I get so excited about most of the races. When the season starts, I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas!. Bristol always winds me up too.I'd bet there will be some big wrecks in this Richmond race. One good thing, it's a short week so to speak n we don't have long to wait. It's hard to say about Joey making it. I think there will be a lot of pushing things to the limit.

I have a feelin there's gonna be changes in the standings. I can't wait!!   =o`))

I'm pumped every week but this one is a stand-out weekend. Elliott is in the Nationwide race, I made some picks on my fantasy team that I think will enable me to catch you, the bubble-drivers are going to have to race to the last lap, and it will be a good race. Sorry to Joey Lagano fans but I hope he doesn't even qualify, he's too arrogant. I don't usually get too excited for Richmond but this week is different.

I'm very excited too! I haven't been this excited since Homestead last year. Then I was just praying for Jeff to pull out the championship. This race, I can't wait to see who is in the chase and who is out. You make an excellent point about those locked in and how they might impact the rest.

I got really pumped up before the mid-summer Daytona race this year. My man Paul Menard was on the pole and I was hoping he'd have a big day. Always exciting to watch a plate race.

I'll be sitting in row one off of turn two so I cannot wait. Unfortunately I don't know if Mother Nature is going to cooperate - they're calling for rain in the afternoon. Who knows.

Ever think about going into marketing? lol That's one heck of an ad for Richmond! I get pysched like that before any race I attend. IT's HUGE adrenaline rush when you know you're going to be there.. the sights, sounds and smells..lol That's awesome! What sport has more passionate fans? Honestly?

Yep, I'm excited, I love Richmond under the lights gonna be a great race, and Hanna better croak before she messes with the race. No Rain its Richmond, but then they do have Sunday. I always want Dale Jr to win, but I'm gonna be cheering for David Ragan to get in the chase. I like Clint, but I want to see this kid get in there....Can't wait, already have the beer, and pizza dough, its another bring your own toppings pizza pot luck, Quick and easy, I'm not slaving over no grill for this race. Trego, Jimmie is looking good. I'd like to see Dale Jr plant Rowdy in the wall this time. Can't wait, how many hrs & minutes till the green flag..Richmond, short track racing at its best..

I'll be at the race.  I just made plans to be off Sunday b/c there is a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday. :(  I'll be watching Kenseth while biting my fingernails.

I'm really excited and worried about the race. I really want David to make the chase while all my friends are telling me there's not chance in heck that he will.

Maybe Joey will have to make the race and wreck Bowyer.

I don't think I've ever been this pumped for a race. Except for maybe Daytona 500 every year.

im always excited for a race but this one i am extra excited for.  the last time i was this excited was before the 2008 daytona 500.  i get excited for homestead to because it is right near me and i go to it every year for the last couple of years.  i think it will be hard for joey if things dont go his way to make it to the end of the race, but h**l have no problem  qualifying.

I totally agree with you.  Everybody is gonna be out to win or place as high as they can.  Finally an all-out race where everybody is on a mission!  More tempers flaring and more risks taken.  Come on Richmond!  Go Jr.!  Yeah, I think Logano will qualify and do well out there, unless somebody decides to take him out.

I am excited every day to wake up alive.  I am looking forward to the race this weekend too.  I know Lagano  will qualify and he will make it to the end if he does not have an accident and drives smart.
