When was the last time you were really angry? Was it for something really silly?

Why do we get angry for the smallest things?

It was very insignificant.  I got to the beach and realized I only had one cigarette left and that I had forgotten to grab my full pack.  I had a huge nic fit and snapped at my friend for no reason.  I somehow get really nervous if I do not have an extra pack of cigarettes in my purse.

I was really angry when I read a story in the newspaper this morning about a young girl who was totally neglected by her parents and by child welfare authorties and by other relatives who tired to protect the mother from authorities. She was 14 years old and weighed only 42 pounds when she died. She had been left on a mattress on the floor and had been there so long, she had oozing sores and there was an imprint of her little body on the mattress.

That sort of thing really makes me angry.

Yesterday I was almost furious because UPS came to my house to deliver a package. I was on the second floor, so I yelled out the window (I know, ghetto) that I was coming, then I put the dog in a room because he was barking and all agitated that someone was at the door, and I didn't want him bothering the delivery guy. So then I came down the stairs, and the guy was driving off! He didn't even give one minute to come answer the door.

I spent the rest of the afternoon on the phone with UPS yelling at everybody about him leaving so fast--what if the customer was elderly or disabled, and just couldn't move fast? Though the people on the phone were sympathetic and helpful, and agreed that he should have waited a little longer. I told one lady that our dog was mean and hated people coming to the house (not true) but the next time that driver came, I would let the dog come down, and she agreed with me, lol.

The funniest thing is, the package was for my husband, and he wasn't mad at all that he now has to wait until Monday to get it.

Watching my boss this week c**k up a deal worth about 5 million by pure, unadulterated incompetence.

Strangely it didn't annoy me as much as the girl in the supermarket yesterday chatting to someone instead of listening to me saying I wanted to pay for something separately. You're right - the smallest things can be the most annoying, probably because they're the most easily avoidable.

When we blow up over the silly things it's because we have taken and taken and taken so much that just one silly little thing throws us over the edge -- the straw that breaks the camel's back.

I sometimes get really angry over silly things ... then a few days later could just kick myself.  But the other day I got really angry at one of my husband's doctors.  My husband has been sick and disabled for 7 years.  He has been to about 75 - 80 doctors.  They all acknowledge that he is sick, he is disabled, and don't know why.  It gets very frustrating.  This orthopedic doctor said he didn't want to read through my husband's medical file and wants me to compile a condensed version of the past 7 years, with specific dates of medical problems and prescribed medications.  I flew into a rage.  This task is daunting and overwhelming.  It makes me furious that we pay all that money for insurance premiums and copays and he wants me to do his work for him.

When i found out that the woman i am crazy about is getting married to some other guy and its killing me inside as she is soo beautiful and amazing. I want her so much and would do anything for her. If im being totally honest im still angry because it's so painful being around her.
