  1. March 24, 1936 - Detroit vs Montreal Maroons, 116 minutes of OT.  The game went into the 6th overtime.


  2. The 1950 final between the Red Wings and the Rangers is the longest Stanley Cup final in history

    458 minutes 13 seconds

  3. 1987 Rangers vs. Washington was the longest game 7 I believe, I don't know if that still stands or if there's been a longer game that wasn't game seven.
