When was the most recent reasonably large earthquake in an MEDC?

I really need a relatively destructive earthquake from 2005 onwards, if there are any, but if not, what was the most destructive before that, in a rich country?

Kobe, Japan. 1995. There aren't any which have been worse than that from 2005 onwards.
