  1. Received: my neighbour invited me for tea yesterday, which was very kind of her.

Given: I accepted the invitation and provided her with all the info she wanted to know about me since we last met a year ago. When I left she said that it was very kind of me that I had come.

  2. Last given - This weekend I got to a family get together late because I saw a lone cow escaped from its pen and knocked on all the doors nearby to find the owner.  When I found them they were grateful as they did not realize it was out yet and it was in the road bothering with cars.  It coulda ran off way far and gotten killed or something.

Last received - Last winter my car overheated in a snowstorm and a guy in a big van pulled over and helped me put coolant in my car.  It was especially kind because he was in a SUIT on his way to a funeral!!  And I was on my way to take a test at college, and it would've taken me twice as long to put the coolant in the car cause I would've waited for my car to cool way down --  because they can spray at you when hot.. he risked his suit, being late to a funeral, getting wet, just to help me!  Sweet guy.  His name was Don.
