  1. It depends on how much moisture is in the air.

    If there s a lot of moisture, you may get a fog or mist.


  2. The water droplets condense into clouds. Eventually, when the water drops build up, it rains.

  3. Water evaporizes as it rises and as it evaporates it releases heat and condensational cooling occurs.   How fast it dries depends up how available moisture there and the surface temperature.   The process of lifting is called convection.

    The same thing happens in the lifecycle of a thunderstorm, only on a larger scale.
