  1. adrenaline, high bloody pressure, mental state

  2. Butterflies are caused when we are nervous and thinking that some thing is going to happen ,or when we are excited when we are talking to the opposite s*x

  3. adrenaline rush or a loss of blood to the head

    could be a niacin  flush

  4. I've been told that it's adrenaline being created by our bodies. But I'm not entirely sure. Somebody here should know.

  5. ok from my basic knowledge it has to do with the fact that adrenalin is being released into our body to make us ready to react (fight or flight) to what is making us nervous.

THIS HORMONE CAUSES PUPIL DILATION, BRONCHI DILATION AND INCREASED RESPIRATION SO THAT WE ARE MORE ALERT AND READY TO REACT TO THAT WHICH IS MAKING US NERVOUS. (eg that test we about to take or that big scary figure coming towards us in the ally)

    ******

Also it causes increased blood flow to brain and muscles supplying more oxygen for respiration and energy which these essential areas may need to react. In order to do this the body shuts off or limits blood supply to non essential areas at these times. eg. blood supply to the stomach + digestive system is limited as digestion is suspended so more blood can be diverted to more essential areas. This reduced blood flow can cause the butterfly sensation in your stomach.

    hope this helps.
