When we have an LPG leak is’ it danger to use the foam in order to stop LPG emanation?

  1. why not fix it right with a new hose or pipe thread tape


  2. Foam probably won't stop LPG emanation and anything that could conceivably cause a spark could cause an explosion.

    The discharge of foam could cause a discharge of static electricity.  If you must have a safe procedure, a HAZMAT book (available for free at the Department of Transportation)

    describes how to contain all HAZMAT leaks and spills.  A company called Chemtrec has an "800" number for emergency situations.  Your LPG delivery company probably has that # or you can get it from 800 directory assistance.

  3. Try asking this again in some sort of English and we might be able to get to grips with it

  4. Any type of LPG leak is dangerous and I would not recommend that you use foam at all.............
