When we identify film field as industry, why the children acting in the films are not treated as child labour?

An interesting question for the children’s day!

in the US they are.  the number of hours per day and days per week are regulated by law.  in addition, schooling must be kept up and passed (this is usually done with hired tutors under a "home schooling" plan).

As you would expect, the number of hours per day is lower for smaller children.  The industry likes to use identical twins in roles when possible, since they can switch off in front of the cameras and thus keep their daily hours down.

Legally they are considered child labor.

There's all kinds of government oversight to limit the amount of time on the set, make sure they have proper schooling etc.

Whether the laws are enforced uniformly is another matter.
