  1. Did you know that it is simply a LIE that the Iranian president said he wanted to "wipe Israel of the map"?

"Ahmadinejad did not say he was going to 'wipe Israel off the map' because no such idiom exists in Persian"

Juan Cole (Professor of Middle Eastern history at the University of Michigan)

In fact he said the "the ZIONIST REGIME shoud be wiped from the pages of history" ie the political ideology that a Jewish state should be placed where others are already living.

As a comparison, saying that "the Communist REGIME shoud be wiped from the pages of history" does not mean you want to destroy China.

    Edit:

Compare this with Bush's annointed succesor as president joking about the indiscriminate killing of Iranians:

    Edit:

In fact the Iranian president has AGAIN recently stated he does not want to attack Israel:

  2. How about we overthrow the leader of China, the leader of North Korea, Amahadinejad, and Castro and make the world a better place!

I don't know if it will work in the same way....

  3. Umm, it didn't work did it? He was back in power within a few days, since the Venezuelan people didn't fall for the lies of the coup leaders. The big difference is that Chavez isn't a dictator. He was elected, and is extremely popular with the poor of Venezuela, who make up the vast majority of the electorate. His problem is that he won't sell the USA oil at preferential rates, and so is painted as a commie and a threat to US interests. Funny how the dozens of other dictators helped into power by the US didn't get labelled as dictators despite horrendous human rights abuses (Suharto, Pinochet, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein, Hibre, Noriega, etc etc) as long as they continued to be favourable to US interests.

None of the rhetoric concerning Chavez and Ahmadinejad has anything to do with fighting terrorism or aiding freedom for the people-it's about removing the leaders in favour of someone who will allow the USA to do as it pleases in those countries....which coincidentally both have massive oil reserves.

Time for Americans to get their info from somewhere other than Fox News or  wikipedia

  4. n**i gonna happen

  5. Chavez is still there matey.
